Collect all required documents for your application as described below.

Define the correct travel purpose to define the type of visa you wish to apply for. To make it easier for you, our embassy has made check-lists for the most common types of visa. You find them here.  

For other types of visa, please contact us via e-mail berlin.consul@diplobel.fed.be to receive a complete and recent checklist. Fill out the form to ask for information on visa and join the completed form, a legible scanned copy of your valid passport (page with name) and of your valid German residence permit with your e-mail.

A general list of documents per type of visa, as well as the latest information, can be found on the website of the Belgian Immigration Office under this link:  Immigration Office | IBZ.  In case of discrepancies with our information, you should presume the information of the Immigration Department to be correct.
