Come to the Embassy of Belgium in Berlin on the set date and time to hand in your application with:
- proof that you booked an appointment;
- your valid passport;
- your valid German residence permit/Fiktionsbescheinigung + Zusatzblatt (when available);
- a printed and signed copy of the visa application form;
- 1 recent passport size picture according to ICAO regulations;
- all other documents requested for your visa application in original (when applicable) and/or a copy where required. All documents cannot be older than 6 months.
We will take your fingerprints and photograph. You must therefore always appear in person at the appointment. The only exception is for children under the age of six. The appointment will take at the maximum one hour (one person).
There will be no file checks or visa advice given during the appointment to take your biometric data. This first appointment does not guarantee that you will receive a visa, but it is compulsory in order to obtain a visa.
Copies of your file cannot be made at the Embassy.
